Anthony Paul Smith is Assistant Professor in the Religion department of La Salle University (Philadelphia, USA). He received his PhD from University of Nottingham with his thesis entitled Ecologies of Thought: Thinking Nature in Philosophy, Theology, and Ecology, an edited version of which is forthcoming from Palgrave. Known as a translator of works by French thinker Francois Laruelle, his anomalous work spans the boundaries between philosophy, theology and ecology.
