University of Hertfordshire on Saturday the 6th of April.
If you are a postgraduate philosophy student who researches the topics of consciousness, attention or perception then this is a great opportunity to present your work to other postgraduates in the field. The range of topics is wide and can be on any question within the study of consciousness, attention or perception.
The format will be five talks from the successful applicants and one keynote lecture.
The keynote lecture will be given by the University of Hertfordshire’s Dr Sam Coleman.
Abstracts should be between 250-500 words and should be prepared for blind review and submitted to capp2013@easychair.org. Please send two documents. The abstract should be separate to a document of details including name, email address and university affiliation. Presentations should be prepared to last for 30-40 minutes and there will be a time for questions at the end of each talk.
Alternatively, If you would like to attend but do not wish to present then please send an email to register to capp2013@hotmail.co.uk. Registration is free. There will be refreshments and a light buffet lunch provided to all who attend.
The deadline for submission is the 12th of February 2013. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of February.
