Fredirich Kittler (1943-2011)

Friedrich Kittler died today in Berlin. Professor Kittler was born in 1943 in Rochlitz, Saxony Germany. He was a literary scientist and a media theorist, and his research focused on media, history, communications, technology, and the military. He has been called the Derrida of the digital age.
